Since 1949, Los Angeles Valley College has offered students the education, skills and training necessary to pursue their dreams at its campus in Valley Village in the eastern San Fernando Valley. Valley's Maintenance and Operations Building is the first green-certified building completed by the Los Angeles Community College District's Sustainable Building Program.

- Once completed, the child and family complex will be the LACCD's only facility to have three related divisions under one roof: the Child Development Center, the Child Development Department and the Family Resource Center.
- Valley has the only 10-lane Mondo track in California. Mondo has been the sports surface of choice for seven Olympics and it is the surface on which hundreds of world records have been achieved.
