About Los Angeles Mission College
Mission College is located in the northeast San Fernando Valley in Sylmar.Visitors to Mission College will see a newly painted Instructional Building and a 3-story, 1200 space parking structure under construction. The parking structure will feature rooftop photovoltaic cells that will provide energy to the campus power grid and shade for the top floor of parking. Los Angeles Mission College is also working to update its campus master plan and has engaged local neighbors and community groups to help in the planning process. This is a new beginning for Mission College and a time to take the best features of the original master plan and build on them to create an even better master plan that will serve Mission College and the local community well for years to come.

- Campus-wide infrastructure improvements
- Complete the New Health, Physical Education and Fitness Center
- Begin construction of Family & Consumer Science Building, new private faculty offices and campus entrance monument

Last summer, Mission College celebrated the opening of its newly completed state-of-the-art parking facility. The new four-level, 352,117 sq. ft. structure includes a photovoltaic farm on the roof that will generate 170kw of solar power which will be enough electricity to power the entire structure.
